Italian Caprese Salad

  • 500g Beef steak tomatoes, cut into slices

  • 1 pack Mozzarella di Buffala, cut into slices

  • 1 Lemon, juiced

  • 100ml Organic olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Jamie Oliver Balsamic di Modena

  • Fresh basil


  1. Cut the mozzarella and tomatoes in 1 cm slices

  2. Place them on a plate individually and season with salt and pepper

  3. Mix the olive oil with the lemon juice. Drizzle the dressing on top

  4. Tear the basil leaves and sprinkle all over

  5. In the end drizzle with good Balsamic vinegar


An all- time Italian classic. You can also use cherry tomatoes or organic Roma tomatoes as well. I personally like to add some thin slices of Prosciutto to my salad and soak up the juices with a fresh baked Ciabatta or Focaccia.
