Beef Liver with Onions

  • 50g Clover, organic unsalted butter

  • 4tbsp of Rice bran oil

  • 750g Brown organic onions, finely chopped

  • 700g Organic beef liver, finely sliced

  • Salt and pepper

  • Chopped fresh parsley


  1. Heat the butter and oil in a large frying pan.

  2. Add the onions to the pan and cook gently until brown and translucent. When the onions are nice and brown, set aside on a plate.

  3. Increase the temperature of the pan and add the liver to the pan. Fry for 2 minutes on each side. Do not overcook the liver.

  4. Return browned onions to the pan and season with salt and pepper, stir gently

  5. Add the chopped parsley in the end.


Make sure the pan is very hot before adding the Liver. Fry gently on both sides (should be still pink in the middle). You can add some Balsamic Vinegar at the End right before serving. This dish is well accompanied with creamy mashed Potatoes or Polenta.
