Italian Caprese Salad

  • 500g Beef steak tomatoes, cut into slices

  • 1 pack Mozzarella di Buffala, cut into slices

  • 1 Lemon, juiced

  • 100ml Organic olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Jamie Oliver Balsamic di Modena

  • Fresh basil

  1. Cut the mozzarella and tomatoes in 1 cm slices​

  2. Place them on a plate individually and season with salt and pepper​

  3. Mix the olive oil with the lemon juice. Drizzle the dressing on top​

  4. Tear the basil leaves and sprinkle all over

  5. In the end drizzle with good Balsamic vinegar


An all- time Italian classic. You can also use cherry tomatoes or organic Roma tomatoes as well. I personally like to add some thin slices of Prosciutto to my salad and soak up the juices with a fresh baked Ciabatta or Focaccia.
