Garlic Butter Steamed Diamond Clams

  • 1kg Diamond clams, rinsed and scrubbed

  • 5 tbsp Unsalted butter

  • 2 Garlic cloves, finely chopped

  • 1 cup white wine

  • 1/3 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice


  1. In a pan, melt half portion of the butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring constantly, until fragrant (about 20-30 seconds).

  2. Add wine and lemon juice, bring to a boil then add clams and the remaining butter.

  3. Cover and steam until clams have opened (about 6-8 minutes). Occasionally shake skillet while steaming.

  4. Sprinkle evenly with parsley.
